NBX Pool Delegates Pledge in Cardano Governance
NBX acquired the staking pool Ada North Pool in November 2021 including the Ada held by the pool. As an active participant in the Cardano ecosystem, we have decided to delegate this ada (our pool pledge) to a Cardano community DRep called Lalkul. Lalkul means ‘for everyone’ in Arabic and uses a sign that pays homage to the Middle Eastern father of Algebra, Muhammad Al-Kwarizmi. The DRep consists of a collective in the Photrek team through a sociocracy circle. Among its members is people such as Jose De Gamboa who works in the Civics committee at Intersect and Juana Attieh who is the CSO of Amlok. Photrek does research on Sociocratic pluralism such as the preprint article on this topic related to Cardano. We note that we might change our delegation in the future and in particular we are always interested in supporting the community here in the Nordics where we have our roots but we think Lalkul is an excellent starting point for our Cardano Governance journey. You can learn more on Lalkul through their Catalyst presentation and their Twitter account.
As a reminder If you want to follow the Cardano price movements we have created a dedicated page for the Cardano Price you can find it here, or if you want to compare Cardano with other blockchain marketcaps we have an overview page here. We also offer Cardano Staking through our platform as well as directly to the pool with ticker ANP.
