Cardano Foundation enters agreement with Argentina Province
In an X post on the 5th of June, Cardano Foundation announced the signing of a master collaboration agreement with the Entre Ríos province of Argentina. This follows a lot of activity in Argentina by Cardano such as covered in a Cexplore article discussed in April of 2024 as well as legal developments such as in the tweet by Lawyer and Cardano Ambassador Mauro Andreoli suggesting the possibility that Argentine citizens will be able to enter contracts in ADA. Interestingly the ambassador also observed that the president of Argentina reposted a post by Charles Hoskinson on the fact that some of the brightest minds of the Cryptocurrency industry came from Argentina. J.J Siler who works for IOG also revealed on X the Cardano Constitutional Convention that will happen in Buenos Aires, Argentina in December 2024. To add to this a flurry of activity related to Cardano is happening in Argentina such as one of the top engineering schools in Argentina holding a Cardano builders event now on June 8th. What this will bring for the future of Cardano will be interesting to see and in particular the constitutional event in December 2024 should be a fundamental event for the Cardano blockchain in terms of its governance development.
